Yangon City Golf Resort (YCDC Golf Club)

Yangon City Golf Resort (Also know as YCDC Golf Club) consists of two 18-hole courses the first 18 known as Silver (Ngwe Thaw Tar) was opened in 1994 spread over 7000 yards and the second 18 known as Pondi (Myakantha) was opened in 1996 spread over 6208 yards. The course is situated 40 minutes’ drive North from downtown Yangon.

The two 18-hole courses are quite different. Silver is spread across a low flat plain with forgiving wide fairways and greens and is great for players of all skill levels. Pondi is more challenging with tighter fairways and snug greens it favors more accurate play. It’s a more well-known golf course being host to the Asian PGA Tour in 1998 and 1999.

With very well maintained greens and fairways it’s definitely one of the better courses in the area and a Course not too miss if you’re travelling through the area.
